The Panthers are looking to make it three in a row against the Blue Devils
The Pittsburgh Panthers will return to Acrisure Stadium this afternoon at Noon to battle the Duke Blue Devils. The Panthers have been on a bounce back over the past several weeks after defeats from Louisville and North Carolina. The Panthers in their last two contests have defeated Syracuse and Virginia, clinching bowl eligibility after last week’s win.
The Blue Devils have been on a very similar path to the Panthers as of late, having a bounce-back couple of wins after heartbreaking losses to Georgia Tech in overtime, and North Carolina by 3. Duke secured Bowl eligibility on November 5 with their win over the Boston College Eagles.
One of the biggest players to watch today on the Panthers is their star running back Israel Abanikanda. Izzy has been on a tear this season with over 1,000 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns. Do not be surprised to see Izzy run all over the field much like last week against Virginia.
Today is also Senior Day for Pitt and many of the players will be honored during today’s festivities.
