Perhaps the biggest knock on Kenny Pickett throughout this draft process has been his hand size. Some scouts are concerned that his hands measured in at 8.5 inches at the NFL Scouting Combine.
Pickett didn’t sound too concerned about it during his media session, telling reporters “Whatever it measures, it measures.”
At this point, Pickett and his inner circle are just having fun with this whole situation.
Earlier this week, Pickett’s fiancé, Amy Paternoster, posted a photo of them on Instagram with a hilarious caption.
“Look at this funny tweet about your hands,” Paternoster wrote.

Clearly, they’re not bothered by all the noise surrounding his hand size.
It’s worth noting that Pickett’s hand size actually increased by ⅛ inch at Pitt’s pro day this week.
“The stretches work,” Pickett said, via ESPN. “It’s the reason why I’ve been doing them. If it helped getting an eighth of an inch, I’ll take it.”
Despite all the drama surrounding his hand size, Pickett is expected to be a first-round pick in this year’s draft.
