The Pittsburgh Panthers’ Men’s basketball will make their regular season debut as they take on the UT-Martin Skyhawks. The game will be streaming over on ESPN+.

Pitt is currently an 8.5 favorite with an over/under of 140.
While you can never take any opponent too lightly, especially where Pitt has finished the last few years under coach Capel. The one thing most of those who follow the Panthers will be looking for is just how this new team plays together. While missing John Hugley for tonight’s game will not paint the whole picture, it will still be intriguing to see how the Panthers look in regular-season action. With a basketball backyard brawl coming up on Friday, the Panthers will need to use this game to blend a few new pieces together and establish an identity of what they want to do on the court. Both Pitt and UT-Martin had struggled on the offensive side a season ago, so it will be interesting to see how these offense look to start the new season.
