Best of luck to Carter Warren going forward
Left tackle and team captain Carter Warren’s Pittsburgh Panthers football career has come to an unfortunate end today after it was announced that he would be missing the remainder of the season, with an unspecified injury per an announcement from head coach Pat Narduzzi.
Pat Narduzzi just announced that Pitt team captain Carter Warren will miss the remainder of the 2022 season.

Warren has been a consistent starter since 2019 when he took over the starting LT spot, playing in all 13 games that season. Recruited out of New Jersey, Warren redshirted his freshman season, not making any appearances in his sophomore season either. In his junior season, he seized an open spot on the offensive line and has been a stalwart of that bunch for the past 3 seasons.
Warren’s best year as a Panther was the 2021 season, in which he earned second-team All-ACC honors, as well as Offensive Lineman of the week honors in Pitt’s win over Clemson.
While this may be the end of Carter Warren’s time on the field, expect him to be a prominent voice in the locker room as a captain. His draft stock should remain relatively intact if the injury sidelining him for the rest of the season is not going to have lingering effects after rehab, in which case Warren is projected as a mid-round draft pick.
