The Pens’ captain came through in the clutch
Pat McAfee sold out the PPG Paints Arena and promised a Big Night Aht. Promises made and promises delivered with a star-studded crew of celebrities on hand. Coming back to his hometown and the home of the Pens, you had to know McAfee wouldn’t shy away from bringing the big guns and he came through with Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin and Kris Letang taking part in the festivities, among many others.

To help set the totals of the money McAfee was giving away to the audience, he created a challenge for some of his stars. If they could pass a football through a ring, $1 million was added to the pot. Naturally, the Pens’ captain came through in the clutch, drilling his opportunity. There was some pressure involved since Pirates phenom Paul Skenes missed twice in row.
