Here are your Pens Points for this Tuesday morning…

P.O Joseph was, at one point, considered the Penguins’ ninth-best defenseman on their depth chart. Now, Jospeh has exploded onto the scene and statues will soon be erected in his honor. Jokes aside, the man they call P-O Joe is having a tremendous debut season, but how has the 21-year-old rookie been able to make such large strides in such a short time? [Post-Gazette]

Defenseman Mike Matheson exited practice yesterday with an undisclosed injury after colliding with a teammate. [Trib Live]

There were several questions facing the Penguins heading into the 2021 season. Would Tristan Jarry replicate his All-Star campaign? Would the bottom-six be more than a bunch of “meh” players? Would the defense hold up with several new faces? So far, the answer to all of these questions has been a big n-o. [Pensburgh]
