INDIANAPOLIS (Triple-A, 0-1) lost 9-8 in its season opener against Louisville (Reds). 2B Nick Gonzales went 2 for 5 with a home run. 1B Jake Lamb went 1 for 5 and homered in the top of the ninth to bring Indy within a run. RHP Colin Holderman, on a rehab assignment after an illness, recorded two outs and gave up three runs on two hits and a walk. LHP Michael Plasseyer started and was effective, allowing only a solo home run with six strikeouts in four innings. RHP Kade McClure was touched up for five runs on three hits and two walks while recording just one out to take the loss. SS Liover Peguero and 3B Malcom Nunez and DH Joe Perez each had two hits.
