How bad are they?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Pittsburgh Pirates fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
This week’s question asked who you thought was the second-worst team in baseball after the dreadful Colorado Rockies, who are currently 8-42 on the season. Your options were the Pirates, who are currently 17-34, the Chicago White Sox, who are 15-35, and the Baltimore Orioles, who are 16-32. The Miami Marlins also had a case to be included at 19-29, but I stuck to just the three worst percentages after Colorado. Here’s what you said:

A full 74 percent of you took the Buccos, and you’ll get no argument from me, with the team recently coming off of a 26-game streak of scoring four runs or less and the GM already having to answer questions of if it’s time already to trade Paul Skenes.
There’s no sugarcoating it — this is a disasterous season for the Bucs, and only the all-time badness of the Rockies is keeping them from worst team in baseball status. It’s not even June yet, and the season is pretty much over for the Pirates.
Thanks for voting. We’ll be back again next week with another poll.
