Are fans liking the job he’s done so far?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Pittsburgh Pirates fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
This week’s question asked about the new Pirates manager Don Kelly. When he took over, the Bucs were 12-27. The team is now 24-40, or 12-13 since Kelly started on the job. The offense has gotten a little bit better, and the lineups have a made a little more sense. But this is the City of Champions, and the Bucs have been down and out a long time. Are Pirates fans satisfied with Kelly so far?

A full 82 percent of you say yes, which is a healthy number. The team does look improved, and slightly below .500 as they’ve been playing under Kelly is likely around their ceiling, so it does appear the new skip is maximizing his limited resources.
