There’s a new skip in town. Are you satisfied so far?
Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the MLB. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Pittsburgh Pirates fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
We’re back with this week’s question. It’s a pretty simple one. When Don Kelly took over for Derek Shelton as Pirates manager, the team was 12-27. Since Kelly took over, the Bucs are a slightly more respectable 10-12 to make them 22-39 on the year. Kelly was ejected sticking up for his guys in his second game. The offense has been a little better (though that’s hardly on Kelly), and at least for me personally — I’ve liked his batting orders a lot more. They make more sense than what Shelton was sometimes doing.
But what we want to know is, are you satisfied with Kelly so far?
