Matt Feiler and Robert Spillane will practice today as they both remain on IR.

On Wednesday, linebacker Robert Spillane and offensive lineman Matt Feiler practiced with the team in advance of their wild-card matchup with the Cleveland Browns this Sunday.
This is significant because both players have been on IR and unable to play for the past three weeks. But having both former starters activated gives hope they will be ready to roll for this week’s game.
The return of Spillane and Fieler does create some interesting roster decisions for Pittsburgh. In Feiler’s place, rookie Kevin Dotson has been excellent. Do the Steelers just plug Feiler back in or go with the rookie?
As for Spillane, his return is welcome. Pittsburgh currently has Vince Williams and Avery Williamson as the starters and converted safety Marcus Allen as the only real depth. Even if Spillane doesn’t start this week he will at least provide an excellent rotation of linebackers to help keep that Browns run game slowed down.
