It took all 17 weeks of the NFL season to determine a winner.
The Behind The Steel Curtain survivor pool has finished! It took all 17 weeks to go from 352 entries all the way down to one. After getting though the entire regular season, someone finally gets to take home the autographed Maurkice Pouncey football.
There were three contestants entering Week 17, each choosing two teams. The choices were difficult as 18 teams had already been used so there were only 14 choices to make two selections. The choices were two for Minnesota, two for Dallas, one for Washington, and on for the Los Angeles Chargers. The choice of the Cowboys to defeat the New York Giants eliminated ‘Iron City’ and ‘Steel Free Or Die’ while the choices of Minnesota and the Charges brought home the championship for ‘My%20Difinitive%20Pick%20Set’ in league #3 as the second winner of the BTSC Survivor Pool. Picking the Chargers was a gutsy call to go against the Cheifs, but since they were resting players it paid off to bring home the prize.
Our contest winner’s name is Brett A. from Harrison City, PA. His entire family are huge Steeler fans and made the contest a family affair as they have been conversing back and forth with who to pick each week. Brett has been a Steelers fan for as long as he can remember. His best Steelers moment was as a kid he received a Ben Roethlisberger autograph at training camp his rookie year. This was the first year Brett participated in the contest and entered after reading the article at BTSC which was written describing the contest.
