The Steelers’ captain fired back at his former teammate after comments he made on X

It’s been anything but smooth sailing for Antonio Brown since he left the Steelers. His image has been forever tainted, and a series of legal issues have followed him. On top of that, the former All-Pro wideout is now calling out former teammates in ugly ways.

Browns posted a photo on X that showed Magic Johnson and his son, EJ, back when EJ was a child, next to a photo of EJ in the modern day. For those who don’t know, EJ is openly gay. Brown posted the photo with the comment “Cam Hayward is Magics son?”

Heyward fired back at Brown.

“Good thing you can’t spell,” Heyward replied. “Let me know when you back in the states.”

Good thing you can’t spell?! Let me know when you back in the states

Heyward is likely poking fun at Brown facing charges for attempted murder after he fired a gun at a boxing event held by Adin Ross, insinuating that he left the U.S. to dodge any charges coming his way.

The whole situation is sad, more than anything. The downfall of Brown has been increasingly hard to watch, and it’s unfortunate that this is what he’s become.
