In a rematch from Week 17, the Steelers will host the Browns this Sunday on Sunday Night Football.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are headed back to the NFL playoffs for the first time since the 2017 season. As AFC North champions, the Steelers will host the Cleveland Browns in a rematch of their Week 17 matchup. This time, the Steelers will have their players available as they chose to rest all of their offensive and defensive captains in the game in order to better prepare for the postseason.

With an expanded playoffs in 2020, each conference will have seven teams in each conference. With the extra team, Wild Card weekend will consist of six games with three on Saturday and three on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers will play their Wild Card game on Sunday night at 8:15 PM on NBC.

The Steelers will be playing in a new time slot for Wild Card weekend as Sunday games are usually at 1:00 PM and at 4:25 PM. In the 2016 season, the Steelers had their Divisional Round game at Kansas City moved to the 8:20 PM time slot due to a winter storm. In this match up, the Steelers were victorious by a score of 18-16. Being the last time a playoff game was played in an 8 PM time slot on Sunday night, hopefully the Steelers can keep the streak on Sunday night playoff wins going in 2020.

The last time the Browns made the postseason was in 2002, and it was a Wild Card game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field. Steelers fans will remember that game with Tommy Maddox and company coming from behind and beating the Browns in a legendary game.

Be sure to stay tuned to BTSC for the latest news and notes surrounding the black and gold as they prepare for the Browns in the AFC Wild Card round of the AFC Playoffs.
