The former All-Pro was arrested at approximately 3 AM on Saturday morning
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was detained in Miami after an incident that took place early Saturday morning.
Per ESPN, Miami police said officers responded to the area Brown was in after gunshots were detected from the sunshot-detection system ShotSpotter. A video surfaced of Brown in a fight at a boxing event hosted by Adin Ross. Brown took to social media to let everyone know what happened from his point of view.
“Regarding the boxing event that happened last night. I was jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, Police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me. I WENT HOME THAT NIGHT AND WAS NOT ARRESTED. I will be talking to my legal council and attorneys on pressing charges on the individuals that jumped me. I will keep you all posted step-by-step on the process. Thank you for the support and love.”

This is far from the first controversial incident that Brown has been involved in. In 2018, he notoriously threw furniture from his apartment window, which was on the 14th floor. In 2019, he was accused of sexual assault by his trainer, Britney Taylor. He’s also been involved in multiple domestic incidents that resulted in police being called to his home on several occasions.
That’s far from all of Brown’s legal issues that seem to never stop following him. We’ll keep you updated if anything else comes from this situation.
