Fans and supporters of Justin Fields during his time with the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as anyone holding onto hope he remains with the team in 2025 and beyond, may want to shield their eyes.
Steelers writer Mark Kaboly broke some interesting news regarding the future of the Steel City’s starting quarterback on Friday evening. Kaboly, appearing on 93.7 The Fan, argued that he firmly believes those in charge of making roster decisions for the Pittsburgh Steelers are siding with Russell Wilson over Fields:
“The people at the top of the [Steelers] organization that might make the ultimate decisions are number three [Wilson] fans over number two [Fields] fans.”
This should be taken with a grain of salt, as Kaboly is not Pittsburgh Steelers President Art Rooney II, GM Omar Khan, or HC Mike Tomlin. However, his knowledge of the situation unfolding behind the scenes is still troubling for anyone hoping for Wilson to go elsewhere in 2025.
