‘I personally do think Jesse caught the ball. Not just saying it because I’m a Steeler now. He did catch the ball. I worked out with him and we talked about that. He did catch it.’ – @pat_fry5, who grew up a Pats fan, knows @JJames18_ caught it

Pittsburgh Steelers fans love new tight end Pat Freiermuth. First, they love him because he’s from Penn State. They also love him because he reminds many fans of former Steelers legend Heath Miller.
Now Freiermuth has given Steeler Nation another reason for them to rally around the rookie. Freiermuth was asked about former Steelers tight ends including Jesse James and he offered his opinion on whether or not James caught that pass against the New England Patriots back in 2017 that was ruled a drop and cost the Steelers the win.
“I personally do think Jesse caught the ball if we are being completely honest,” Freiermuth said. “Not just saying it because I am a Steeler now. But he did catch the ball. I worked out with him and we talked about that and he did catch it.”
