Bryan Anthony Davis and Tony Defeo go back in time 17 years to the day and reminisce about a classic Wild Card game between the very two teams that are set to battle in Round One this weekend. Welcome to the “Steelers Retro Show“.
With the Steelers set to battle the Cleveland Browns in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs, BTSC thought it would be fun to re-air one of the greatest Steelers postseason games of all time featuring these very teams. The 2002 Steelers started out the season in a rough way. They lost to the Patriots and Raiders to start the season and Kordell Stewart was replaced by Tommy Maddox in Week 3. After starting 1-3, Tommy Gun and the Steelers went on a fun run that led to a berth in the playoffs and a crazy game in flurries against Cleveland. This is the main topic that will be discussed on the Tuesday episode of the AM slate in BTSC family of podcasts. Join BTSC’s veteran duo of Tony Defeo and Bryan Anthony Davis as they set adrift on memory bliss in the year that brought us the DC snipers, Rock vs. Hogan at Wrestlemania 18, Eminem’s Eight Mile, the Salt Lake Olympics and the Steelers on a fun journey in the postseason.
