Nine years ago today, on Jan. 8, 2012, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos played one of the most exciting playoff games in NFL history. It also happened to be one of the worst moments in the Steelers history.

This is the game forever known for that pass, you know the one, from Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow but this game was much more than that. The Steelers were riddled with injuries including one to quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and after 60 minutes of big plays and big mistakes, it all came down to overtime.

I won’t spoil it in case you haven’t had a chance to live through this trauma, but with the Steelers preparing for their playoff game this Sunday we wanted to remind everyone just how things can go wrong if given the opportunity.
