On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers put out their latest practice report and it is a mix of good news and bad news. Pittsburgh is preparing for their wild-card playoff game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday night.
On the plus side, safety Terrell Edmunds was a full participant after missing last week’s game with a shoulder injury. His return will be welcome against a Browns team that loves to run the football.
On the downside, defensive tackle Tyson Alualu and linebacker Vince Williams both missed practice. Again, with the Browns looking to run the football, losing two guys right in the middle of the defense not in the mix is far from ideal.
Additionally, kicker Chris Boswell and cornerback Steven Nelson were limited. The Nelson injury is especially troubling when you consider Joe Haden is still on the Reserve/COVID-19 list.
